North London giants Arsenal are preparing a big bid for highly rated Saint Etienne teenager William Saliba according to recent reports in the British media.
The young French defender has been attracting the interest of several clubs on the European scene since he broke into the first team at his French Ligue 1 club.
According to the Daily Star, the Gunners will make a £27m (€30m) bid for him in the coming days and that the North Londoners see him as the direct replacement for wantaway Arsenal skipper Laurent Koscielny.

Arsenal could sign William Saliba and loan him back to Saint Etienne for the entire duration of the 2019/20 season.
Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny is on his way out of the club after new contract talks broke down.
The 33-year-old has one year left on his contract and the Gunners are open to his sale with German club Borussia Dortmund keen to sign him.
