Three-time European champions Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier this summer.
This is according to the report from The Times which claimed that Eric Dier is one of the names being considered as a potential replacement for the ageing Nemanja Matic.
Serbian international Matic has spent two years at Manchester United since his big-money move from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer of 2017.

The ex-Benfica midfielder still has two years to run on his contract with the Red Devils but his performance last season suggests that Manchester United would be better served looking for a long-term replacement for him.
Eric Dier, 25, has been an important player for Spurs since he joined them from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon in 2016 and he has always being a transfer target for the Red Devils.
Other midfield targets for Manchester United include Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff and Declan Rice.
Sean Longstaff burst onto the scene during the second half of the just concluded Premier League season as a potent midfield partner for Isaac Hayden at Newcastle United.
On his part, Declan Rice has been linked with other Premier League sides like Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
