It has been a very wonderful season for Merseyside outfit Liverpool as they prepare to play in the UEFA Champions League final at Madrid against North London outfit Tottenham.

Ahead of the final, it has been revealed that Liverpool will reward two of their stars James Milner and Joel Matip with new contracts after they helped the club to reach the finals and they are expected to play as well.

Both players have been a major part of the manager Jurgen Klopp team and their contribution have not gone unnoticed by the manager and the management.

James Milner is set to run down his 5 years contract he signed with the club from Man City in 2015. His input to the team and is versatile quality has been well appreciated by the management.

Also, Joel Matip is only new to the club but he has been able to pick up from his very slow start to become a major part of the team.

However, it is expected that they will both be invited to the table for talks of a new deal as soon as the Champions League final is played.

Liverpool will only hope to end their title drought with a win on Saturday.
