Former Arsenal forward Serge Gnabry was the star of the show after he scored three goals as Germany came from a goal down to thrash Northern Ireland 6-1 at home in their final qualifier for Euro 2020.
Germany had already qualified for the tournament billed to take place in 12 cities across Europe next summer and the win over Northern Ireland ensured that they finished Group C as group winners.
They didn’t have it their way after going behind to a Michael Smith strike in the first ten minutes.
Serge Gnabry produced a smart finish to equalize for the Germans twelve minutes after the seventh minute opener from the hosts.

His Bayern Munich teammate Leon Goretzka scored two minutes before the interval to give Germany a 2-1 lead.
Serge Gnabry added two more goals in the second half in addition to further goals from the aforementioned Leon Goretzka and Julian Brandt.
The ex-Arsenal forward was able to score his first hattrick for his country before being replaced by Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Nadeim Amiri for the last ten minutes.
Gnabry now has 13 goals in 13 appearances for Germany with the treble against the Irish team.
It is his second hattrick of the season having scored a treble for his club during the 7-2 mauling of hosts Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.
