North London giants Arsenal are reportedly interested in a move for Borussia Dortmund forward Mario Gotze this summer as per the various reports coming out of the German media.
German international Gotze is in a contract standoff with Borussia Dortmund and the Gunners are monitoring his situation with the Bundesliga giants.
According to the specific report from the stables of popular German newspaper SportBild, Arsenal are ready to meet his salary demands.
Mario Gotze is the second highest earner at Borussia Dortmund who are keen to extend his contract but both parties are yet to reach an agreement.

The 26-year-old has one year left on the four-year contract that he signed when he rejoined the club from German champions Bayern Munich.
Mario Gotze is famous for netting the winning goal for Germany in extra time of the 2014 FIFA World Cup final.
His strike gave the Germans a fourth World Cup title via a 1-0 win over Argentina.
Gotze came off the bench to score the only goal of the game for Germany.
He’s a long-term transfer target for the Gunners dating back to 2011 when legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was still the Gunners boss.
