Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is facing an uncertain future at the club after the retired German international was left out of the Europa League clash between the Gunners and Portuguese club Vitoria Guimares.
Arsenal played hosts to Vitoria Guimares in a Matchday Three clash on Thursday night and Mesut Ozil was a notable absentee for the Gunners.
He was left out of the 18-man squad by manager Unai Emery despite the fact that he’s fit.
As a matter of fact, Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been excluded from the team for the last five games in all competitions.

Ozil has fallen out of favour with Gunners boss Unai Emery after playing just two games all season and he has been linked with a move away from the club ahead of the January transfer window.
Without Mesut Ozil in the Arsenal squad, the Gunners struggled to overcome Vitoria Guimares in their Europa League clash.
The Gunners were on the verge of losing their first game at the Emirates Stadium this season before the timely intervention of record signing Nicholas Pepe.
The Ivorian came on for Alexandre Lacazette in the 75th minute and went on to score two freekicks as Arsenal came from 2-1 down to beat their Portuguese opponents 3-2 in the Matchday Three clash.
