WhatsApp, the instant messaging app is continuously pushing updates for the ease and convenience of users. In contrast to that, WhatsApp is aiming to bring a new feature of sending images and videos in ‘Best Quality. This feature won’t compress the images or videos too much. There will be three dedicated options to set it out.

Users will be able to set the image quality to “Auto“, “Best Quality” and “Data Saver“. The current limit size of images or videos is 16MB while sending images or videos in the future won’t be limited to it.

The Auto option will detect the best file size to send it, however, selecting the Best Quality option will send videos and images in high quality. This option will send videos and images of the highest quality available.

Thus in Data saver mode, the files will be compressed to the desired extent, which will save most of your data in sending media.

The feature is currently in the development phase, while its arrival isn’t confirmed yet. Also, the feature isn’t available in the beta phase yet. The release of the beta version for this feature isn’t confirmed yet.

Furthermore, WhatsApp is also bringing a new feature termed “Multi-Device Support“, this will allow users to use the same account on up to four devices. The arrival of the feature has been confirmed by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
