Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is set to release next week


Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown the upcoming remake of the Virtua Fighter Series. After a decade this would be the brand new addition to the legendary Virtua Fighter 5 series. According to Sega, the Ultimate Showdown will be the PS4 exclusive and is going to be released next week.

The forthcoming fighting game remake would have better and updated graphics, new online features and will be based on a new engine. This will lead the “Ultimate Showdown” to an amazing remake.

Moreover, with further improvements and graphics, the users will be able to experience and spectate matches in real-time. In the private lobby, users can match up to 16 players. Despite this, players will also be able to enjoy online tournaments as well.

The game was first released in 1993, which personally I use to play every time. However, the 3D fighting game series has an iconic record by the name of Tekken.

Virtua Fighter 5 was introduced for PlayStation (PS3) back in 2006 and later on for Xbox 360. According to IGN, the gameplay will be the same as its predecessor, however, the graphics will be much improved, as they are being developed using RGG’s Dragon Engine technology.

One of the SEGA Spokesperson said that

It will include new background music for every stage, a new user interface, a new user interface, a new opening cinematic, and new lighting and shaders.
