Man United hero Rio Ferdinand gives the hint that the North London outfit Arsenal have got a new weapon with the return of Brazilian international Gabriel Martinelli from injury.
The young forward has been out of action for eight months. He was last seen on March 2 when taking on Portsmouth in the FA cup but his performance has not been forgotten by the Red Devils legend who feels Gabriel Martinelli’s maturity is something difficult to come by in a player of his age.
The 18-year-old is now a major boost for manager Mikel Arteta has he is expected to return to full action very soon after confirming that he is now running and feeling his legs with more confidence.
Rio Ferdinand recalls the goal scored by the 18-year-old against Chelsea and concluded that the North London outfit have got a big addition to their squad when he returns.

“To be 18-years-old, doing what he’s doing. The goal against Chelsea alone, he runs from the edge of his box – a set-piece against his team – he takes it to the other end,” the Man United legend said.
“Normally, your legs are gone by then, you’ve got no energy and no juice in your legs, but he has the composure to slot it. Great player, but the awareness of the way he plays, the way he moves on the pitch, the intelligence to receive the ball, the positions he takes up.
“He comes inside at the right time to allow Saka to have space on the outside and ask the opposing full-backs the questions; ‘Are you gonna come inside with me, or are you gonna stay with Saka?’. It’s mad. He’s a mature player for such a young kid.” He concluded.
Mikel Arteta will hope that Gabriel Martinelli returns in great form and mentality so as to help his struggling team and provide options for goal scoring.
