With the lack of goals at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal will definitely be in the market for a new forward that will ease the pressure on Gabon forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as soon as possible.

The former Borussia Dortmund forward has been the man for goal scoring at the Emirates Stadium for the past two seasons, scoring at least 20 goals but he has not been in the best of form, firing blank in the last five Premier League games. He has not been helped by other offensive players in the team like Alexandre Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, Willian, and Nicolas Pepe.

This has forced the North London outfit to join other clubs in keeping tabs on Sao Paulo forward Brenner.

The 20-year-old is attracting this interest from European clubs because of his effort in goal scoring with 15 strikes for Sao Paulo across all competitions, including six goals and two assists from 12 appearances in the Brazilian Serie A.

According to Calcio Mercato, the Gunners team are currently monitoring the forward and will make a move for him as soon as a decision is reached to do away with one of their strikers.

The North London club will welcome Brazilian International Gabriel Martinelli from a long-term injury and his performance will determine if Brenner’s chase should be taken seriously or not.

Although, it won’t be an easy fight for the Mikel Arteta’s team because the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Ajax, Lazio, Juventus, and AC Milan are also keen on his signature.

However, France International, Alexandre Lacazette might be the scapegoat in this case with speculations mounting of his move away from the club. He probably has the lifeline until the end of the season to prove he wants to stay with his goals.

He already has suitors from the Italian Serie A and the La Liga as options of his next destination.
