It is feared that Man United will miss out on the service of former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino as he is already in talks with a top club for a return to the dugout.

The Argentina international manager has made a name for himself during his spell with the North London outfit Tottenham. He was able to make the team title contenders and secured qualifications to the Champions League. His only limitation was being unable to win a major title.

He is reported to be the man the Red Devils are hoping on should manager Ole Gunnar be sacked as Man United manager because of the poor performance and results in the last couple of games.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently under the pressure of being sacked if he fails to win the next couple of games to restore hope for the season.

Mauricio Pochettino, who has been without a job for almost a year is reported to be on the verge of signing a deal for a return to the dugout with another top club which means the Red Devils might not be able to land his service should they sack the Norwegian boss afterwards.

Sportsmail reports that Mauricio Pocettino will have immense support from Man United dressing room if he is given the job but if they fail to act fast, they will be losing his service.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has played down the speculations that he would be sacked after insisting that he has been given a job to do and he will do it to the best he possibly could, adding that the speculations of his sack are opinions that cannot be regarded.

After losing against Arsenal in the Premier League and against Istanbul in the Champions League, the Red Devils are set to face Everton at the weekend, in what is believed to be another tough fixture for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.
