It has been revealed that Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid already have an agreement in secret to land the service of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Erling Haaland is on the wish list of several clubs in Europe and the Red Devils are one of the teams keeping tab on him to make a move in the future.

The Red Devils had made enquiry about Erling Haaland when discussing the deal for England international winger Jadon Sancho with the German Bundesliga outfit.

Man United considered the option of snapping up his signature when they were unable to negotiate a deal for the former Man City academy player but they were denied access to the player.

AS now reports that if the Spanish giants will land Erling Haaland in the future, it would happen because of the “secret pact” between the German Bundesliga club and Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola.

The report added that Merengue is to benefit from the secret pact between both parties, there is a “verbal agreement” for his departure from Borussia Dortmund in 2022.

This development remains a big blow to the Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who is keen on getting a deal for a skillful forward to help his team.

That was the reason why he insisted on the signature of Jadon Sancho for the club but the fee of £108 million could not be paid as the England international is not valued at that fee.

Perhaps, the German Bundesliga outfit were not willing to let go of any of their top players in the last transfer window and that could be traced to their determination to keep Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland for the next few years.

Man United will now have to turn to other options as they might also lose out on the signature of Jadon Sancho to other suitors.
