English Premier League outfit Arsenal lost a special player in Aaron Ramsey when he left the club as a free player to join the Italian Serie A outfit Juventus.
In his days at Arsenal, the Wales international was known for his authoritative control of the midfield with his possession play and ability to pass the ball. He is also very good off the ball with his energy to mark. He is now out of favour with Juventus with little games to boast of.
These qualities seem to have returned to the Emirates Stadium with the presence of Jow Willock according to an article by Total Arsenal.
After watching him impress in Arsenal’s Europa League game against Molde and getting on the score sheet, a lot of attention have been on the youngster.

The article stated that Joe Willock operates like a midfielder who plays the free role and adding “real penetration and ‘coordinated chaos”
“His sheer athletic, physical presence and ability to penetrate a tight defence with his dribbling and ball-control skills led to not one but two, more or less forced, own goals; and he also scored a goal himself from the edge of the box late on that was pure class.”
Scoring in the game against Molde gives the North London outfit another remembrance of Aaron Ramsey as the club has not had a goal-scoring midfielder since he left the club.
However, manger Mikel Arteta has told Joe Willlocck that the only way he can secure playing time in the Premier League is for him to be consistent like he now seems in the Europa League.
The likes of Bukayo Saka and Riess Nelson have been handed Premier League appearances by the Spanish boss but that cannot be said of the 21-year-old midfielder but that could change if he centimes to impress with every opportunity given to him.
