Arsenal told they can be title contenders with this man

Arsenal have been tipped to be title contenders if they are consistent in their recent performance for the next few months but that will only be possible because of the influence of manager Mikel Arteta on the team.

This is the first time the North London outfit is winning a game at Old Trafford against Man United in 14 years and the first win in 29 games against any of the top teams, away from home. It happened with Mikel Arteta in charge.

Perhaps for his last days and undoing at the club, Arsenal were prey to all top teams under former manager Arsene Wenger during his last few years but that is already being corrected by the Spanish boss.

Under his watch, with about 40 games as Arsenal manager, the Spanish boss has been able to defeat Liverpool in three different competitions in the last four months. In the FA Cup, he has beaten Chelsea and Man City.

Arsenal have visited Man City, Liverpool, and Man United so far this season and have conceded fewer goals than other top teams that have ad less of such games to give the proof that something good is happening under Mikel Arteta that is new.

Amongst other things, the pattern of Arsenal’s game have since changed, the intensity and commitment has been improved while the courage and belief to face big games has returned to the team.

The recruitment in the summer transfer window is one that has not been experienced in a long time as the defensive weakness of the team has been settled with the signature of Gabriel Magalhaes and Thomas Partey.

However, all that has been mentioned above are stepping stone to retuning the North London outfit to the top as title challengers and it is expected to happen within the next few years.
