Credit is already being given to Mikel Aretta for his role in the resurgence of the North London outfit since he took over the job last year.

The situation immediately changed at Arsenal when Mikel Aretta took over the job after leaving Man City as an assigns to Pep Guardiola in 2019. The North London outfit can now compete with top clubs without any form of jittery while the style of play and the intensity has greatly improved.

In his first few months in charge, Mikel Aretta led the Gunners to an FA Cup title win and a Community Shied while the qualification to the Champions League ahead of next season.

Arsenal legend Tony Adams says Arsenal u23 boss Steve Bouldis full of praise for Mikel Arteta and his qualities as the first-team manager.

Speaking on the Astro SuperSport show after an impressive and rare Arsenal Premier League win against Man United, Tony Adams gave respect to Mikel Arteta for his impact on the team.

“[Arteta’s] got a fantastic ability to work with this team, he puts hours into the training pitch,” Adams said “He’s his own man. if Özil’s not in his thinking, he’s out. You know, it’s as simple as that”.

“I can’t speak highly enough of the guy. When I talk to my mate Steve Bould, who’s still in the club taking the u23s at the moment, he said to me: ‘Tone, this guy, he’s got it all. He’s the Governor.’ According to him, Steve Bould sees Mikel Arteta as the best manager he has since in a long time.
