The defeat suffered by Man United in the Premier League would be left behind as Champions League resumes with a game away from Old Trafford against Turkish champions Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday.

The Red Devils last outing was in the Premier League on Sunday where they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal after Gabon International Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring from the spot in the second half of the game.

While shifting their focus, Man United will hope to continue their winning streak in the Champions League after winning their last two games, earning a massive six points.

The 2-1 win away at Paris Saint-Germain with a thumping 5-0 home win against RB Leipzig will give the Red Devils a psychological advantage ahead of their Turkish opponents despite playing away from home and suffering a defeat in their last game.

The fact that Basaksehir are yet to score a goal in the competition along with FC Midtjylland and Marseille makes then less of a worry for Man United ahead of the encounter but that does not mean ruling the Turkish outfit out of the game.

Man United had a hectic fixture against Arsenal and they are to face another against a formidable Everton team which allows manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to rotate his squad and also allow others to showcase what they can offer.

Should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer observe the above, Dean Henderson could be the first to benefit in order to allow rest for David De Gea. Edison Cavani has also not enjoyed enough minutes because of his level of fitness. This is another chance for him to gain more match fitness.

A feeling of freshness in the midfield could have the combination of Nemanja Matic and Donny van de Beek.
