English Premier League outfit Man United might have defeated RB Leipzig by 5-0 in the Champions League, against all odds but that does not place them at the same level as Liverpool and Man City as title contenders.

The Red Devils have been unbeaten in the last four games since their 3-1 defeat to North London outfit Tottenham but they have been warned by former player Dimitar Berbatov that it is too early to think they are can win the Premier League title.

Man United will face Arsenal at the Old Trafford on Sunday and a win against the Gunners will walk them up to the top but their inconsistent performance in the Premier League and the Champions League is still a major concern for the former player.

“It’s hard to know why they have been so good in Europe, but less impressive in the Premier League, at times it’s just different in both competitions.” He told Betfair.

Man United started the season with some defeats in the Premier League but they have bounced back with the help of their summer transfer signings but they have enjoyed a smooth run in the Champions League so far.

The game against the North London club in the Premier League clash will also determine their standing on the table and how well they can compete against big teams this season.

The last time the Red Devils won the English Premier League title was during the reigns of former manager Alex Ferguson as they have continued to struggle to make the top four.

Meanwhile, a number of managers have been sacked as a result of wanting to maintain the standard of the legendary manager before the coming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and he is already under fire to lose his job if he fails to stabilize the team.
