The chances of having Brazilian international Roberto Firmino at Liverpool next season is very slim as he is receiving renewed and desperate interest from Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.

Roberto Firmino has been quiet in goal scoring since the start of eth season and he is reportedly keen to have a new challenge to be able to bring his game alive again.

Real Madrid want a striker and they are prepared to invest in the signature of the Brazilian who is valued at £70 million. There is a plan to build a new team at Bernabeu and Roberto Firmino is a major part of it.

Los Blancos have sold Cristiano Ronaldo and now Gareth Bale which makes it necessary to bring in more attacking players so as to help the team as former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has lot lived up to expectations.

Real Madrid’s La Liga rivals Barcelona are also reported to be monitoring the situation with Roberto Firmino as they are interested.

However, Roberto Firmino is a worry for many who believed he has not been at his best as he has only scored 13 goals in his last 60 games in all tournaments for the Premier League title holders.

It will not be surprising to have Liverpool cash in from his sale with reports that they are already in search of another forward that will replace Roberto Firmino as soon as he leaves.

The presence of Diogo Jota is also giving a big relief to manager Jurgen Klopp and he could just be the replacement already for the Brazilian man with his strong presence in the team, having scored four goals with the last three within a week.

Meanwhile, the target for the Merseyside outfit this season is to defend the Premier League title and win the Champions League.
