Three Players Man United Could Sign For Free To Boost Solskjaer’s Squad

Manchester United started the current Premier League season poorly and this clearly showed that the playing squad needed reinforcements. However, the club left it late until the final hours of the transfer window.

The Red Devils signed four players on the final day of the Premier League transfer window and the good thing is that they can still take advantage of some free agents available at the moment.

Experienced striker Edinson Cavani, left-back Alex Telles and the young attacking duo of Facundo Pellestri and Amad Diallo all joined Manchester United on transfer deadline day.

There are three free agents that the club could easily snap up to improve their squad according to Manchester Evening News (MEN).

Experienced Argentine centre back Ezequiel Garay has been without a club since failing to get a one-year extension to his contract at Valencia in the Spanish La Liga.

The Red Devils have conceded 11 goals in just three games and they have the second joint worst defensive record in the league behind West Brom and alongside the duo of Liverpool and Fulham. Garay will add defensive stability to the team.

Another free agent is former Barcelona midfielder Wilfrid Kaptoum, who left Real Betis this summer.

The third and final free transfer option is experienced Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic who’s a free agent after his release by Qatari club Al Duhail.
