There is no doubt that the relationship between Arsenal and Germany international winger Mesut Ozil has already ended as he has been frozen out of the team.
While Mesut Ozil has been snubbed in the Europa League game, there are expectations that he will not feature in other competitions and might never play for Arsenal before his contract expires next summer.
There have been efforts to have Mesut Ozil leave the club but he refused despite reportedly receiving offers from several clubs. He is keen to stay and see out his contract with the club as the highest earner.

However, Mesut Ozil might be staying at Arsenal until the end of the season but the club is already making efforts to have him replaced and David Ginola feels the North London outfit already have a replacement for the former Real Madrid player.
According to David Ginola, Houssem Aouar is the best replacement for Mesut Ozil and he has already been identified as a target by Arsenal.
Arsenal made efforts to snap up the signature of Houssem Aouar in the just concluded season but that did not happen as the club insisted on a £50 million fee which the Gunners refused to pay.
