The transfer window has ended for Premier League clubs to sign players but there is an avenue for players to leave for other clubs outside the Premier League.
Also, Premier League teams can still sign players from teams in the lower leagues of the English Football League until October 16. This is 11 days after the Premier League transfer window ended.
Some other leagues are still open to the transfer of players. For example, Chelsea were able to send Dutch midfielder Marco Van Ginkel on loan to former club PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivisie before the close of the transfer window in the Netherlands on Tuesday night.

The Russian transfer window closes on October 17, while the transfer window in Portugal doesn’t end until October 25.
The Daily Mail reported that as many as six players are scheduled to leave the club after Malang Sarr.
Summer signing Sarr has already joined Portuguese champions FC Porto on loan and the likes of Marcos Alonso, Emerson Palmieri and Danny Drinkwater could join him in exiting the club.
Malang Sarr became a Chelsea player after the club signed him on a free transfer this summer at the end of his contract with OGC Nice of France.
