For obvious reasons, Man United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is not happy to remain at the Old Trafford after the deadline day after efforts were made by Everton to make a move for him.

The Argentina international has gone down the pecking order at the Old Trafford with the return of Dean Henderson from his loan spell. He will now become the third choice in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team which leaves him with lesser playing time.

Harry Redknapp claims the current Premier League champions should have helped Sergio Romero by making a move for him this summer transfer window, noting that he would be of help to the club.

The Red’s first-choice Alisson Becker could now be out for a number of games as he suffered a shoulder injury in training last week and missed Sunday’s game against Aston Villa which ended up in their 7-2 defeat.

Second choice shot-stopper Adrian has not been convincing enough and Harry Redknapp feels the Red Devils goalkeeper would have been a good deal for more reliable hands in between the sticks.

According to him, Liverpool needs a goalkeeper more than Everton and would have made an attempt to swoop for him, a development that would have given him the opportunity to leave Old Trafford.
