Former Premier League player Jamie Redknapp has revealed the signing that transformed into the best team in England and Europe.
Ex-Liverpool manager Jamie Redknapp told the Daily Mail that the signing of Dutch international Virgil Van Dijk has transformed the Reds into the best team in the Premier League.
Liverpool have been transformed from top-four contenders into title contenders with the signing of Virgil Van Dijk in a £75m deal two years ago.
Van Dijk joined Liverpool from fellow top-flight outfit Southampton in January 2018 and he has become one of the most important players in the team.

He was a crucial player for Liverpool as they won their sixth European title after beating Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final last year June.
Van Dijk and Liverpool beat Spurs 2-0 in the final of the competition in Madrid to secure a first Champions League title in 14 years.
Apart from the Champions League title, Liverpool have won the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup titles.
Also, Liverpool are closing in on their first league title in 30 years after opening a 14-point advantage at the top of the Premier League table with 16 league games left to play before the season ends.
