It is believed that the former Napoli midfielder is the easiest deal the Gunners can strike before the deadline but that is being threatened by the French Ligue 1 outfit that are reported to be keen with a last-minute attempt.
It is understood that Paris Saint Germain have already approached Chelsea boss Frank Lampard on the possibility of the deal on a loan term and it is reported to be a positive one.
