French Ligue 1 club Rennes are in talks to sign Arsenal defender William Saliba before the close of the transfer window.
This is according to French media outlet Telefoot Chaine which revealed that Rennes are trying to sign the young French centre back on loan for the remainder of this season.
William Saliba returned to Arsenal this summer after a season-long loan spell at another French Ligue 1 team, Saint Etienne.

The Gunners signed William Saliba from Saint Etienne in a £25m deal before he was sent back to the same club for a season-long loan deal.
Saliba, 19, is yet to make his debut for Arsenal since returning to the club this summer.
He was not part of the Matchday squad for the recent Carabao Cup fourth round clash at Liverpool and that prompted questions about him from reporters to manager Mikel Arteta.
According to the Arsenal boss, William Saliba needs time to adapt to a new surrounding.
The Gunners are into the Carabao Cup quarterfinals after the penalty shootout win over Liverpool on Thursday night.
William Saliba could leave Arsenal for Rennes who are in the Champions League group stage.
Rennes are in Group H of the Champions League alongside Chelsea, Krasnodar and Sevilla.
