Ousmane Dembele is no longer favoured for selection in the Barcelona team but he has continued to insist on staying at the club. However, a loan deal is being proposed with an option to buy and that could tempt the player into accepting the offer from the Red Devils so as to get more playing time.
Should Barcelona decide to let go of the former Borussia Dortmund forward, he will be available for about £53 million and that could be considered by the Red Devils to invest in.
Talks are expected to be held between the two clubs to agree on the terms for the deal before personal terms can be discussed with the player.
