Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas has disclosed that Premier League giants Arsenal made a bid for club skipper Houssem Aouar.
The Lyon chief corroborated widespread media reports that the Gunners made a second offer to sign the 22-year-old Frenchman via his official Twitter account.
According to him, Arsenal are nowhere near their valuation of the player before adding that he expects the player to lead the club back into the Champions League.
Lyon reached the Champions League semi-finals in the last campaign but they didn’t qualify for the competition this season.
