English Premier League club Man United have continued to insist on the signature of German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho but they have been unable to win it.

The Red Devils have been told by Borussia Dortmund that they will not be releasing the England international winger for any fee less than £100 million which Man United cannot pay.

Now it is claimed that the Red Devils are making the last move by preparing an offer of £90 million which might also be rejected by the Bundesliga outfit.

Jamie Carragher has, therefore, slammed the Red Devils for insisting on a player that will not make them win the Premier League, stressing that meeting Jadon Sancho’s valuation feels like reversing the culture of overpaying.

According to him, Jadon Sancho is a good player but not worth the £100 million tag that has been placed on him. He noted that his coming will have a big negative impact on younger players like Mason Greenwood this season.

Jamie Carragher claims that even the Red Devils know that the Man City academy product does not worth that fee and that is the reason why they have not met the asking price for the past weeks.
