Arsenal fans already have their attention on the club’s two major targets for the midfield role but that might not happen because of the difficulty in sealing the deals.
Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar from Lyon are the two targets for the Gunners this summer window after the signing of Willian from Chelsea and Gabriel Magalhaes from French Ligue 1 outfit, Lille.
The Gunners have been making efforts to convince both Lille and Atletico Madrid over the deal but that has proved difficult as both clubs are not willing to negotiate the asking prices for their players while efforts to reduce the financial burden by including a player as a swap deal was turned down.

It is now understood that the North London outfit might not be able to seal the move for either of the players and will now consider other options with Chelsea midfielder Jorginho as a possible deal as Sky Sports reports that Mikel Arteta is keen to add another midfielder to his books.
Jorginho has been linked away from the Stamford Bridge to join former manager Maurizio Sarri at Juventus but the speculations have been laid to rest with the sack of the Italian manager. The player could still leave the West London outfit with Arsenal considering submitting an offer.
