Man United Offer £18.3million Contract To Sign This Player

Manchester United have reportedly offered defensive target Alex Telles a salary package in the bid to sign him between now and the end of this transfer window.

The Red Devils have less than two weeks to sign the Brazilian international.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola revealed that the player has been offered a five-year deal worth €4m yearly to make it a total of €20m (£18.3m). The Brazilian will earn around £75,000 weekly with the contract offer from Manchester United.

Club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Manchester United want to strengthen the team in the left-back area, and Alex Telles is the man for the job after the former Premier League champions missed out on Spanish player Sergio Reguilon.

Reguilon has signed for Tottenham Hotspur ahead of Manchester United after the Red Devils failed to meet his transfer requirements as stated by Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old signed for Spurs from Real Madrid in a €30m (£27m) deal.

Personal terms won’t be a problem for Alex Telles and Manchester United but the Red Devils need to agree on a transfer fee for the player who has a €40m (£36.7m) release clause.

Manchester United want to negotiate his transfer for a lower fee as he has one year left. The Red Devils are ready to pay €25m (£23m) for him.

EPL: This Liverpool player now ready for January move

Timothy Aiyeku

Liverpool will soon be without Belgium striker Divock Origi as he is set to leave the club in the January winter transfer window after a disappointing season so far.

The Champions League game against Midtjylland on Tuesday evening saw Divock Origi put in another disappointing performance after he was given the opportunity alongside other backup players by manager Jurgen Klopp.

The disappointing performance by the 25-year-old have sparked speculations that he will now leave the club as he has not had the best of time at Anfield for the past one year.

Belgium outlet Veotbal reports that Divock Origi does not see a future with the Merseyside outfit again, especially as the arrival of Diogo Jota has relegated him and taken him down the pecking order.

Divock Origi must leave the Reds team in order to save his national team career as leaving Liverpool will give him fresh opportunities elsewhere and playing time.

The report, therefore, claims Divock Origi will join Club Brugge in his homeland in the January window either on a loan deal or he could decide for a permanent move as a place in the Jurgen Klopp’s team is no longer guaranteed.

Divock Origi still has a running contract with the English Premier League title holders until 2024 and a permanent move will be the best deal for him and his suitors if his asking price will be affordable.

The Belgium international has been a very important player in Jurgen Klopp’s team but he is mostly used from the bench to seal wins for the club> that was seen in Liverpool’s Champions League win last two seasons.

However, it is yet to be known if the former Borussia Dortmund boss will release the Belgium international in the January transfer window, knowing how important he can be, coming from the bench in important games.

EPL: Jurgen Klopp to disappoint fans with this decision

Timothy Aiyeku

The expectation of fans and pundits are that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will bring in new signings in the coming January transfer window but it is feared that they could be left disappointed at the end of the day.

Liverpool have lost key players to injury including Virgil Van Dijk and Fabinho which exposes their defence to dangers against opponents. The Dutch international is not expected to play again this season while the Brazilian international would be seen later on.

Several names have already been linked for a move to Anfield with reports that the German boss is preparing to bring in a new defender that will serve as cover for the former Southampton defender and also be able to play along with him when he returns from injury.

Liverpool Echo have now reported that there is no assurance that manager Jurgen Klopp will bring in a new defender in the coming January transfer window, adding that he could just decide to stick with his current squad and get the best from them.

This report confirms the claim made by former Liverpool player Adam Lallana who claims that the German boss is happy with the current situation at Anfield as he always likes to be an “underdog”
Adam Lallana added that Jurgen Klopp will surprise many by sticking to his team and getting them to pull the best result that is wished for.
However, the Reds are being linked with Ozan Kabak from the German Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 with reports claiming that they will be making a move for him as soon as the January transfer window.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has described Liverpool’s current situation as being married to injuries as the list of the injured players continues to grow but that has not stopped his team from picking points in the Champions League and the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger faults proposed European Super League, gives reasons

Timothy Aiyeku

Legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has spoken against the proposed European Super League which is being worked out for the 2022 kickoff.

English Premier League outfits Liverpool and Man United are believed to be frontiers in the new development which already has the backing of the world football governing body.

So far, the European Super League is gaining momentum and has received the backing of the American Bank JP Morgan with about $6 billion and that means there is no stopping of it.

Foam Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who is now a FIFA staff has expressed his dissatisfaction with the development, arguing that all advantages benefitted by the Premier League will no longer be in place.

“The Premier League has a superiority. Project Big Picture wanted to reinforce this superiority. The other leagues try to destroy the advantage of the Premier League”

He expressed fears that the European League could be the plan of other leagues to frustrate the Premier League because of the advantages they will no longer benefit.

Arsene Wenger also revealed that the only reason why the frontiers of this initiative are getting down with it is because of the financial benefits they will enjoy as investors.

However, North London outfit Arsenal and the manager have not come out clear on their opinion of the development as it is claimed that they are being invited to be a part of it.

Manager Mikel Arteta has refused to give a stand on the matter, stating that the final format is yet to be known but expects something concrete very soon. He, therefore, called on the unity of all to be able to find the right solutions.

Meanwhile, the league is proposed to kick-start sometime in 2022 with 18 top European teams, including Barcelona and Real Madrid expected to be part of it.
