Premier League giants Arsenal have reportedly made a new bid for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
According to experienced journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners are in pole position to sign the in-demand after they made a bid of €80m for him.
The player has also been offered a salary of €5m on a yearly basis.
Arsenal have also offered agent commissions totalling €10m in their quest to sign the Ivorian international.
Pepe is on holiday at the moment after his exertions at the just concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.
He represented Ivory Coast at the tournament which was won by Algeria.

The Desert Foxes of Algeria emerged champions by beating Senegal 1-0 in the final.
The Algerians saw off Pepe and his Ivory Coast teammates in the quarterfinals.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery is keen to bolster his squad with a new winger and several players have been targeted in the quest for that to happen.
The Gunners are not that only team interested in Pepe.
Italian Serie A giants Napoli have been linked with a move for him and his representatives have been in discussion with the club on a possible transfer.
Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked with him at some point this summer.
