English Premier League club seem to be desperate to land their midfield target Houssem Aouar from French Ligue 1 outfit Lyon and that could lead them into making big decisions.

The Gunners have had an earlier bid rejected while a swap deal proposal was turned down with Lyon keen to take Houssem Aouar’s asking price of £54 million.

With manager Mikel Arteta desperate on a midfielder, the club could be forced to make some big decisions, including selling some of the players to be able to raise some funds for the deal.

The Independent reports that French striker Alexandre Lacazette could be the man to be sold to raise some funds for the deal with two years left to the end of his contract.

It is understood that the former Lyon striker will not be lacking in suitor once he is asked to leave the club as Italian Serie A outfit Juventus are one of those expected to make a move for him.

However, this reported decision to sell Alexandre Lacazette might not go down well with the fans that have much faith in the striker to help deliver goals. The French striker has also not been lacking in his duty to score this season.
