English Premier League outfit Chelsea are ready to fight for the signature of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Taison ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

There is a need for the West London side to secure a replacement for Pedro and Willian who are already aging and not living up to expectation as their game is seen to be diminishing.

This makes them pay attention to the Brazil international winger who has had an impressive start of the season and has shown great quality to be able to play in the Premier League.

Taison is one of the best players in the Ukraine league and has scored a total of 2 goals in 4 games in all competition so far this season.

With his contract with the club expected to expire at in 2021, Taison has got a release clause of £15 which is well affordable or the West Londoners who are desperate this season.

With league leaders Manchester City doing the unthinkable by winning all of their games, it is important for Chelsea to mount pressure on them by winning as well and that is why manager Maurizio Sarri is desperate to secure the services of Taison so as to be able to strengthen his squad.
