Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is on course to leave the club on loan according to the report via The Sun.
The Spanish international is expected to lose his position as the first choice shot stopper at Chelsea following the arrival of Edouard Mendy from Rennes in France and a loan move is on the cards for him as a result.
Chelsea have signed Senegalese goalkeeper Mendy after they agreed a £22m transfer for him on the back of multiple negotiations between the two teams.
Rennes and Chelsea had been in talks over the past weeks.

Edouard Mendy has penned a five-year deal with the Blues and he could make his debut during the upcoming league game at West Brom.
Former first choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has paid the price for a series of high profile errors in the Chelsea goal.
A potential return to Athletic Bilbao on loan has been discussed in this transfer window.
The 25-year-old joined Chelsea two years ago as the most expensive goalkeeper ever. The Blues paid £71m for the Spanish international shot stopper.
He has already made two errors from the three goals conceded by Chelsea in the Premier League this season.
Kepa has made an error in each of the two games he has played this season.
EPL: Frank Lampard gets another strike from Chelsea legend
Chelsea legend Alan Hudson is the latest to give manager Frank Lampard a strike over his tactics at the club and he is unsure if the Blues legend and lead the West London outfit to a Premier League title.
The West London outfit have continued to be inconsistent with the delivery of good results under the former Blues midfielder and more to that is the fact that they have conceded nine goals which is the worst defensive record in the history of the club.
Alan Hudson noted that Fran Lampard cannot be compared with the likes of Jurgen Klopp, adding that his tactics against Man United was wrong, the reason why he failed to win the game last Saturday.
The West London outfit recorded goalless draws in their Champions League game against Sevilla before the Man United draw to make it two successive clean sheets but that has not stopped Alan Hudson from criticizing the team.

Alan Hudson stressed that Frank Lampard has not learned lessons as he continues to make excuses for experienced players who are guilty of defensive blunders, noting that the same happened to Chelsea last season but for the fact that Liverpool were far ahead of most teams, it was unnoticed.
He added that the Chelsea boss will be more exposed because the likes of Everton and Wolves are better teams now and Arsenal are beginning to pick up again to close the gap that existed before now.
Reacting to the two goalless draw results from the Champions League and the Premier League games, Alan Hudson stated that Frank Lampard was desperate to correct his defensive blunders and had to stall out by not having adequate shots on target just to stop the opponents from scoring goals.
However, it is feared that Frank Lampard would be sacked if the results don’t improve in subsequent games.
EPL: Why Chelsea included Petr Cech in their PL squad
Petr Cech was a shock mention in Chelsea’s Premier League 25-man squad for the season as he has already retired from the game at Arsenal and holding a more technical position at the club.
The West London outfit had announced that the former Arsenal goalkeeper will join the club’s Premier League squad as a non-contract player alongside Kepa Arrizabalaga, Edouard Mendy, and Willy Caballero.
Describing the decision to include Petr Cech as a desperate one, a former Chelsea player Alan Hudson had stated that the development is a revelation of how terrible the club is at the back for a retired goalkeeper to be included in the team.

He also stated that Petr Cech is brought in because of his vast experience in the game and because the Blues team were unable to buy another goalkeeper in the last summer transfer window.
Alan Hudson took a swipe at manager Frank Lampard by stating that if John Terry was to be his assistant, he would have included him in the team as a centre-back because of the calamity of the defenders.
However, it is obvious that the West London outfit are struggling with the defenders and goalkeepers and that has been evident in their results since the start of the season.
In a bid to correct it, Frank Lampard made the decision to play Edouard Mendy ahead of the first-choice goalkeeper after his many blunders in the opportunities that were handed to him in the past and there are no chances he will regain that position again with a better performance of the new starter.
The possibility of having Willy Caballero having a major appearance for Chelsea is now very slim as he has been relegated except if the Blues boss finds him worthy of a playing time ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga.
EPL: Frank Lamaprd must learn from Gunnar Solskjaer’s mistake
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has continued to insist on the signature of West Ham United Declan Rice and Daily Star reports that he is now making moves to submit another offer in the coming winter transfer window in January.
West Ham United are also not interested in releasing the England international midfielder as they are reportedly set to hand him a new and improved deal so as to snub interests from the Blues team.
A close West Ham source has claimed that Frank Lampard is the only reason why the Blues team are desperate to land Declan Rice as he hinted that the interest from the Stamford Bridge might end if the Chelsea legend is sacked from the job.
The decision is, of course, left to the player to make but a fight is needed by the Blues team to be able to tempt West Ham United to agree on a deal.

In my opinion, Frank Lampard is already making the same mistake as Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer by insisting on the signature of Declan Rice as he might be distracted during the transfer window.
It would be recalled that Man United’ slow activities in the summer transfer window as highly linked to the fact that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisted on having England international winger Jadon Sancho from Borrusia Dortmund in his team and he spent most of the time negotiating his deal until the club ran out of time for other deals.
Eventually, Man United were unable to secure the signature of the German Bundesliga star. It is only hoped that the same fate will not befall Frank Lampard in his chase of Declan Rice.
The fact that Declan Rice has not pushed for a transfer away from the London club speaks volumes that he is also not keen on a move and a new deal could convince him to stay longer with West Ham.
