According to Trabzonspor president Ahmet Aglaoglu, Premier League leaders Liverpool have made a bid to sign their first choice shot stopper Ugurcan Cakir.
Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir became the first choice in his position at the club last summer shortly after the retirement of former first choice Onur Kivrak.
His quality has attracted the interest of a big club such as the reigning Champions League holders Liverpool who also have a good lead at the top of the league in England’s top flight.
Ugurcan Cakir has made 20 appearances for Turkish Super League club Trabzonspor this season and he already has an assist to his name.

The 23-year-old has already made his full debut for the Turkish national team during the international friendly at home to 2004 European champions Greece in May 2019.
He played the entire game as Turkey beat Greece 2-1.
Cakir would be expected to make the Turkish team for the 2020 European Championships later this year.
He is rated at £15m though his club president didn’t state the amount offered by Liverpool for his services.
Ugurcan Cakir could be the long-term replacement for Adrian as the Reds’ second choice goalkeeper behind Brazilian international Alisson Becker.
Spanish stopper Adrian still has 18 months on the two-year deal he signed last summer when he joined Liverpool on a free transfer.
