Manchester United have already been given a big blow as they try to add a striker to their squad but there could be a light at the end of the tunnel with the quest to add a goalscoring forward to their ranks.

The Red Devils missed out on top transfer target in the striking department, Erling Haaland.

Norwegian international Erling Haaland decided to join Borussia Dortmund this month ahead of sleeping Premier League giants Manchester United and others.

Manchester United have now turned their attention to Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez who has been in very good form for the Midlands club since his transfer this summer.

Raul Jimenez is a Mexican international player and he initially joined Wolves in loan from from Benfica in the Portuguese league before his transfer was made permanent in a £30m deal.

He has scored 17 goals and nine assists for Wolves in all competitions since the start of this campaign.

Manchester United have not replaced Romelu Lukaku since the Belgian international left the club in the summer and Raul Jimenez could be the man for the job.

Lukaku joined Inter Milan from the Red Devils in a £74m deal and the Belgian has scored 14 league goals for the Nerazurri till date.
