Manchester United have missed out on their major transfer target for the January transfer window after they missed out on Erling Haaland who signed for Borussia Dortmund.
Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg has agreed for the Norwegian international star to join the Germans as from the 1st of January.
Manchester United will move on to other targets after missing out on Erling Haaland who scored 28 goals in 22 games for Red Bull Salzburg until the winter transfer window.

He has eight goals in the Champions League with the 19-year-old in second spot on the goalscorers’ chart behind Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski who has ten goals.
The other Manchester United targets include Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, Celtic star Odsonne Eduardo, Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, Tottenham Hotspur player Christian Eriksen.
After missing out on the aforementioned Erling Haaland, Lyon striker Moussa Dembele is now the top transfer target for the Red Devils in the strikers’ department.
He has scored 10 league goals for Lyon this season thus making him the joint topscorer in the French Ligue 1.
He was formerly on the payroll at Scottish Premier League champions Celtic before the Frenchman left to join Lyon last summer.
