Lyon striker Moussa Dembele has turned down the transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the French Ligue 1 club this summer.

In his latest interview monitored by Football London, Moussa Dembele revealed that his long-term future lies with Lyon.

According to him, he wants to honour the final four years of his contract with former French champions Lyon.

Moussa Dembele became a Lyon player last summer after leaving Scottish champions Celtic for Lyon.

The 22-year-old scored 51 goals in 94 appearances for the Scottish Premiership giants before he left for Lyon at the start of the just concluded season.

Moussa Dembele scored 20 goals in 46 games in all competitions for Lyon during the just concluded season with 15 of those goals coming in 33 league games.

His form propelled Lyon to third spot on the French Ligue 1 table and it was more than enough for Champions League football for the new season.

Lyon finished in third place behind Lille and champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

Moussa Dembele is currently on international duty with the French u-21 team at the European Championship in Italy.

He recently scored the only goal of the game to give France a 1-0 win over Croatia as the French team continued their perfect start to the tournament.

France won their opening game of the tournament via a 2-1 win over England.
