Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil has been mentioned again as the North London club continues to struggle in their bid to land Lyon star Houssem Aouar this summer transfer window.
Houssem Aouar is a top target for Arsenal and there have been efforts to snap him up but his £60 million tag has been standing in the way for the North London outfit.
According to Caught Offside, Arsenal’s chances of landing Houssem Aouar this summer transfer window lie in their ability to convince Mesut Ozil out of the club.

With Ozil being out of the team for the past months and yet to feature in any game since the season started, selling him will help the North London outfit cash in some reasonable funds.
Also, taking the German international al off their books will help to reduce the financial burden on the club to be able to accommodate other players with top quality like Houssem Aouar.
Howbeit, it has been a difficult task for the Gunners to convince Mesut Ozil about his future at the club. He is reported to have turned down offers from top teams to be able to see out his current contract with Arsenal.
With about 12 months left to the end of his contract, Arsenal could lose Mesut Ozil for free.
