The English Premier League club, Arsenal have reportedly rejected a bid by Sheffield United to sign Folarin Balogun this summer transfer window.

It is reported that Sheffield United submitted a bid of £3 million to the North London club for the signature of the Nigerian international which is not close to his £15 million valuation.

Folarin Balogun has been impressive with the Gunners team and has been tipped to form part of the club’s future but that has not stopped clubs from wanting his service.

Although it was earlier claimed that the 19-year-old is desperate for a regular first-team role and will not mind finding a new club as it is evident that he cannot get that in the Mikel Arteta team.

The Nigerian youngster is currently in his last 12 months of his contract with the North London club but yet to commit his future with the club which places his stay at the club in the air.

However, Arsenal are believed to be making efforts to convince him to sign a new contract with the club for more years but that will not stop him from leaving the club on a loan deal to help him continue his development with a regular playing time.
