The English Premier League club, Arsenal have been able to confirm the stay of their star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the club for more years and that remains one of the biggest summer transfer activity by the club.

It is now confirmed that the Gabon international striker is expected to be at the Emirates Stadium for the next three years with an improved offer after weeks of uncertainty, waiting, and suspense.

Respected transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has, therefore, revealed that there were efforts by two top teams to convince the former Borussia Dortmund striker to dump the North London club but he refused.

While he failed to mention the names of the two clubs, it is suspected that Real Madrid and Barcelona have made efforts to sign the goal scorer this summer transfer window as they have not hidden their interest.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been a superb addition to the Gunners since he joined, scoring an average of 20 goals in the last two seasons and willing the golden boot.

He also helped the Gunners deliver the FA Cup title and the Community Shield with his goals to make him an important player in the Mikel Arteta plan for the new season.
