West London outfit Chelsea have received a major boost in their bid to land another goalkeeper this summer transfer window after the latest development from Man United on Sergio Romero.

Sergio Romero has been on the radar of the West Londoners after impressing with Man United and he is reportedly tired of being an option at the Old Trafford with a new challenge insight for him.

The return of Dean Henderson from his season-long loan at Sheffield United has relegated Sergio Romero to be the third choice shot-stopper which makes it difficult for his progress.

However, it is reported that Man United have concluded to have him sold this summer transfer window and will be listening to offers for the goalkeeper.

It is expected to be a fight between Chelsea and Aston Villa as both clubs are keen on a new goalkeeper. The Blues are in search of a goalkeeper that will bring in the competition for Kepa Arrizabalaga in the coming season and have been linked with the Red Devils shot-stopper.

At Man United, the battle line has been drawn between David De Gea and Dean Henderson for a starting role with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only willing to give the best the opportunity.
