Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is no longer a priority signing for Italian Serie A outfit Torino according to reliable British media platform Sky Sports.
Earlier in this transfer window, Torino expressed an interest in Lucas Torriera as they wanted to sign the Uruguayan international.
At a point, Torino were in the race to sign the 24-year-old alongside fellow Italian team Fiorentina.
New Torino manager Marco Giampaolo worked with Torreira at Sampdoria and he was keen for the player to move to Turin but that looks unlikely at the moment.

Torino and Arsenal talked about his potential transfer to the former but the two clubs were not able to agree a deal mainly because the Italians wanted a loan deal for him with an option to buy.
Sky Sports also confirmed that Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are now the favourites to sign Lucas Torreira as manager Diego Simeone is a big admirer of the Gunners midfielder.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has used Lucas Torreira sparingly since he was named the Gunners boss in December 2019.
He has targeted his sale to fund moves for his preferred players like Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid and Lyon player Houssem Aouar.
Both players will likely cost Arsenal over €100m.
