The two North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are reported to be linked with the signature of Toulouse midfielder Ibrahim Sangare and they are both ready to sign him up this summer transfer window.

The Gunners are keen on the 22-year-old but they will have to battle the competition from Tottenham as manager Jose Mourinho is also hoping to add the Ivory Coast international to his books this season.

Italian publication Tuttosport also reports that the English Premier League club are not alone in the race for the signature of Ibrahim Sangare as AC Milan are also desperate for his signature.

Ibrahim Sangare is entering his last 12 months of his contract with the French club which makes it the best opportunity to prise him away in this summer window.

It is understood that the Ivory Coast international will be available for £10 million which is a cheap fee for the Gunners to pull a deal as an alternative to Ghanaian international Thomas Partey.

Arsenal have been struggling to meet the £45 million valuation for the Atletico Madrid midfielder and they could decide for Ibrahim Sangare as an alternative if they fail to meet the fee before the end of the summer transfer window.
