Arsenal are set to offload three first team players in a bid to free up space and funds for their top target Houssem Aouar according to Sky Sports reporter Dhamesh Sheth.

€60m-rated Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar has a big admirer in Gunners boss Mikel Arteta and the club is ready to back him in the bid to sign the player.

Dhamesh Sheth revealed Show on Sky Sports that Arsenal want to offload Sokratis Papasthathopoulos, Sead Kolasinac and midfielder Lucas Torreira.

He revealed that Uruguayan international Lucas Torreira is closing in on a loan move to Italian Serie A outfit Torino this summer with the obligation to sign him for £22m next summer.

Torreira will reunite with manager Marco Giampaolo whom he worked with during his time at Sampdoria. The player left Sampdoria to join the Gunners two years ago.

On Sokratis Papasthathopoulos, Italian club Napoli want to sign him but they are not willing to pay any transfer fee for the Greek international. Sokratis has less than one year on his contract at Arsenal.

Three clubs are interested in signing Bosnia & Herzegovina player Sead Kolasinac but he favours a move back to Germany.

AS Roma, Bayer Leverkusen and West Ham United are all in the race to sign him.

Kolasinac signed for Arsenal on a free transfer three seasons ago after his contract with German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 ran out.
