It is becoming evident that Arsenal will be parting ways with goalkeeper Martinez Emiliano this summer transfer window with claims that he has already agreed on a deal with Aston Villa.

The reports claim that the Argentina international will be joining Aston Villa for a fee of £20 million with personal terms already agreed upon.

Already, the Gunners have been linked with the signature of Brentford goalkeeper David Raya with claims that talks have been opened over a possible deal between the two clubs.

However, the latest report by Telegraph says the North London outfit are also considering to sign Iceland goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson as a replacement for Emiliano Martinez.

The report adds that the Gunners have opened talks with Dijon over a deal and an agreement could be reached for a fee in the coming days.

With the recent impressive performance of Emiliano Martinez, it is gathered that most Arsenal fans wish that he stays but it is also understood that he is desperate for a regular first-team opportunity ahead of Bernd Leno which cannot be guaranteed him by manager Mikel Arteta.

Meanwhile, the goalkeeping department is not a focus for the Arsenal boss as he seeks to build his midfield for the new season.
