Nicolas Confirms Chelsea Talks For Mendy

Rennes President Nicolas Holveck has confirmed that Chelsea are in talks to sign goalkeeper Edouard Mendy in this transfer window.
Edouard Mendy has been identified by manager Frank Lampard and Chelsea as the man to improve their goalkeeping department especially after the performances of first choice Kepa Arrizabalaga last season.
Spanish international Kepa had an average season in the Blues goal in the last campaign and was even dropped for 38-year-old Willy Caballero in some games.
