Arsenal have lined up two goalkeepers for a transfer with the club set to lose the services of second choice goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa.
Martinez, 28, underwent his medicals at Aston Villa over the weekend shortly after he was left out of the Arsenal squad for the trip to fellow London side Fulham in what was the opening game of the 2020/21 Premier League season.
The Arsenal goalkeeper had earlier said that he would end his 10-year stay at the Emirates Stadium for a move away from the club if he was not given a fair chance to claim the number one goalkeeper shirt at the club.

Emiliano Martinez was hugely successful when he replaced the injured Bernd Leno in goal towards the end of last season. German international Leno has now reclaimed his position as the number one goalkeeper for the start of this Premier League campaign.
Martinez was in goal as Arsenal won the FA Cup title at the end of last term and the Community Shield at the end of this term. Aston Villa will pay £20m for his transfer to become the third signing of the summer after Matty Cash and Ollie Watkins.
On his replacement, Arsenal have targeted £10m-rated Brentford shot stopper David Raya whom his club say he’s not for sale.
According to popular British media portal TalkSports, Arsenal want to sign £1.5m Icelandic international goalkeeper Runar Alex Runarsson of French club Dijon if they are unsuccessful with David Raya.
