Spanish champions Real Madrid have set a cut-price fee for wantaway attacker Gareth Bale who has been a long-term target for Premier League outfit Manchester United.
The Red Devils have tried to sign the Welsh international player on several occasions and this summer could be the time for them to finally lay hands on their long-term target.
Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo said that Real Madrid are willing to sell Gareth Bale for just £22m, which is the same amount the club sold James Rodriguez. Colombian international playmaker James Rodriguez has signed for Everton this summer.

James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale were both frozen out of the team last season by manager Zinedine Zidane as they rarely featured in the squad that won the Spanish La Liga title.
Welsh international Bale has two years left on his Real Madrid contract at the moment but he’s set to be keenly interested in a move away from the Spanish club as he eyes regular playing time.
His salary at Real Madrid is on the high side but the former Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton star is willing to take a pay cut to secure his transfer.
Manchester United have prioritised Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho as their main target but Bale could come into the equation if they are unable to sign the 20-year-old England international.
