The proposed clearout by the English Premier League club Arsenal is set to begin on full scale and it is likely to start with Lucas Torreira as reports claim that talks have already been held with Italian Serie A outfit Fiorentina.

Manager Mikel Arteta is keen to have a new Arsenal team that will be able to challenge for titles and return to the Champions League, this is the reason why some players must leave the club for fresh legs to come in.

It is therefore understood that the next few weeks will see a number of Arsenal players leaving the club as the North London outfit plans to step up the clearout for more signings to be made.

Aside from the agreement set to be reached with Fiorentina over Lucas Torreira, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed that the club is in talks with the Gunners over a move for Sokratis Papa should they part ways with Kalidou Koulibaly this summer window.

The likes of Sead Kolasinac, Calum Chambers, Matteo Guendouzi, Shkodran Mustafi, and Rob Holding are also available to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer transfer window.

Howbeit, Arsenal have already announced the signature of Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes while Dani Ceballos has been announced on a loan deal but more signings are still being expected.
